Such a fun card design today with this double pop out reveal card. No speciality dies are needed and it is a great one to send to a little child as they love the surprise

This is day 10 of the 12 days of christmas series and the video can be found here

Card Making Instructions

Begin with a sheet of card measuring 5 by 7 inch.

On the long edge draw pencil lines at 1/2, 3, 4 and 6 1/2 inch

On the short edge add pencil lines at 1 and 4 inch

Cut along the lines marked in blue only. This should create 2 flaps

With the short edge at the top of the score board. Score both the newly created flaps 1 inch, 2 1/2 inch and 3 3/4 inch from the left hand side

On both flaps create a pencil line 3 1/4 and 3 1/2 inch in from the left hand side.

Mark these 3/4 from the top and bottom of the cut flaps. These should leave a small rectangle in the middle of the flaps

Cut of this rectangle

Now fold the score lines you created on the flaps so that these are valley, mountain, valley

Cut a piece of card which measures

6 1/4 x 1 1/2

4 x 1 1/2

2 3/4 x 1 score this is 1/2 and 2 1/4

and 2 pieces which measure 3 1/4 by 7/8th Score these at 3 inch

take the 2 pieces which measure 3 1/4 by 7/8th. Place glue on the 1/4 tabs you have created and glue this score line in line with the score line on the flap that attaches it to the card. The opposite end should poke through the rectangle you have cut out

Take the 6 1/4 by 1 1/2 piece and glue this onto the 1/4 inch tab you have created on the flap. This piece glues onto the wrong side of the card. Please see video for clarity

In the pencil square, on the opposite edge to which you have just glued the last piece, draw around a penny and cut out a semi circle

In the middle of the 6 1/4 by 1 1/2 piece glue the 1 1/2 by 4 piece. This should now be visible into the semi circle. See video for clarity

YOu should now just have a piece which measures 1 by 2 3/4 left. This should have been scored at 1/2 and 2 1/4. Place glue on this 2 tabs and glue either side of the piece you have just attached to enable it to slide through

Turn the card over so you are now working on the right side. Pull the tab to enable the pop out parts to be visible and onto here I glued my die cut sentiments

Panels measuring 2 1/4 by 3 were added to the left hand edge of the slide panels

The slide sentiment was stamped in the semi circle

Patterned paper measuring 2 by 2 3/4 were added to the panels

The images were stamped, coloured, fussy cut and applied using foam tape onto these panels

A piece of patterned paper measuring 4 3/4 by 6 3/4 was adhered onto a 5 by 7 card base

The card front was then applied using double sided tape around the edges ensuring that the mechanism can still move freely.
The panel was then finished with the nuvo drops
