Card Making Instructions
Start with a sheet of card measuring 6 x 9 1/2 inch and score on the long edge at 1/2, 2, 3 1/2, 4 1/2, 5, 6, 7 1/2, and 9
From the top corner of the 1/2 mark to the bottom corner of the 3 1/2 score diagonally. From the bottom corner of the 1/2 to the top corner of the 3 1/2 score diagonally. Do the same between the 6 and the 9 sore lines.
Fold the vertical lines from left to right as mountain, mountain, valley, mountain, mountain, valley, mountain, mountain.
The diagonal folds want to be folded as valleys
To create the decorative layers take a piece of patterned paper measuring 5 3/4 x 2 3/4. With a pencil this was marked diagonally corner to corner and the folded down the middle on the short edge.
Before cutting the lines
The middle panels decorative paper measures 5 3/4 by 3/4 inch
The front panels were added to the small tabs these measure 1 1/2 by 6 inch
These were decorated with panels measuring 1 1/4 by 5 3/4 inch
The image was stamped, coloured and fussy cut out and glue added to the small panel in the middle
The sentiment was heat embossed and added to the gingerbread man with foam tape
