Tent Fold Card

I was very excited when I opened my Papercraft Society box to see that this months designer was no other than Time For Tea Designs. Anyone that has followed by Instagram previously will know how much I love there designs and so could not wait to get started but of course life had other plans so it has taken me a while to actually get to play with my box

There is a video on my YouTube Channel showing you the process, you can watch that here

Cardmaking Instructions

I begun with a sheet of card measuring 4 1/8 by 7 1/2.

This was scored on the long edge at 1/8, 3/4, 1 3/8, 7 1/4

A piece of holographic card measuring 3 3/4 by 5 1/2  and the patterned paper from the pack was adhered on top. This measures 3 1/2 by 5 1/4. These were then glued into the largest panel on the card you have just scored

The score lines were then folded. Start with the tiniest panel and fold this as a valley, next as a mountain, then a valley and the top one also wants to be a valley.

A piece of Acetate was cut to measure 5 3/4 by 4 1/8. This was adhered onto both front tabs

The large die from the pack was cut in white and adhered onto the acetate

A small piece of card was cut which measured 4 1/8 by 2 1/2. On the short end this was scored at 1/2 and glue was applied to the narrower of the panels.

This was adhered onto the bottom of the card

This was decorated using holographic card measuring 1 3/4 by 2 3/4 and patterned paper measuring 1 1/2 by 3 1/2

The images were stamped, coloured and fussy cut out before being adhered onto the acetate windows

To create the pop up for the sentiment a piece of card was cut measuring 1/2 by 2 1/4 inch. This was scored on the long side at 1/4, 1/2, 1 1/4 and 1 3/4. Starting at the 1/4 inch score mark, fold as valley, mountain, mountain then valley.

This was glued onto the base

The sentiment was then heat embossed onto white card, cut out and glued onto this tab. Before being finished with enamel dots
