I know this has been done a million times but when I saw this care bear stamp set I just knew that I had to do it again! I know it seems a little strange to be giving my Dad a care bear birthday card, but that is because when I was little and we went to the video shop I always insisted on the care bears movie without fail. He even brought it for my children when they were little.
You all know I hate making envelops so this will fit into a standard 5 x 7 inch envelope
There is of course a video up on my YouTube Channel

Card Making Instructions
Start with a sheet of card measuring 10 x 7 inch. With the long edge at the top, score at 2 1/2 and 5
Fold this left to right as mountain and valley
You now need 2 pieces of card measuring 10 inch by 1 1/2 inch and score these at 5 and 7 1/2.
Fold these mountain and valley
You need another piece of card measuring 3 1/2 by 1 inch and this is scored at 1/2 and 3 inch.
You need a piece of card measuring 1/2 x 3 inch and score this at 1 1/2 inch. Use a hole punch to create a hole in the folded end
Glue the 2 long pieces onto the card base as below
On the 3 1/2 inch piece add glue onto the 2 tabs and slide this into the top box you have created (See video for clarity)
I used the embossing folder and holographic card to create my mats and layers.
These measure
Mats 4 1/4 x 2 1/4 (x2) Layers 4 x 2 (x2)
Mats 4 3/4 x 1 (x2) Layer 4 1/2 x 3/4 9x2)
Mats 2 1/4 x 1 (x4) Layers 2 x 3/4 (x4)
Mats 4 3/4 x 4 1/4 (x2) Layers 4 1/2 x 4 (x2)
Take a piece of acetate measuring 1/2 by 3 inch and punch a hole in one end
Join the two hole punched pieces together with a split pin
Place glue on the inside of the folded card and slide this onto the panel in the top column ( see video for clarity)
The care bear on the swing was then adhered onto the acetate after being coloured and die cut out
The panels were decorated with the sentiment and more images
