I love the Diamond Hammock Card so much and judging by the views so do you all, so I have made a double version on a 5 x 7 and have a triple in the pipeline also

Card Making Instructions

Begin with 2 sheets of card measuring 7 x 3 inch. Score these at 1/2, 2, 5 and 6 1/2 inch

Put a pencil dot, top and bottom at 3 1/2 inch. From this dot to the inside corner of the last score lines, score diagonally.  See video for clarity

Fold the diagonal scores as mountains and the verticals as valleys and gently squeeze into the diamond shape

Take 4 sheets measuring 4 1/2 by 3 inch and score at 1/2 and 2 1/2

Place glue on the tab of the diamond and join the piece you have just scored using the longest panel. See video for clarity

These were decorated with mats and layers.

The Mats for the largest panels are 1 3/4 by 2 3/4 while the layers were 1 1/2 by 2 1/2. The papers were out of the papercraft society box.

The diamond in the middle

Mat 1 3/4 by 1 3/4

Layer 1 1/2 by 1 1/2

The card base is created using a sheet of 7 by 11 inch which is scored at 1/2, 3, 8 and 10 1/2

This was folded ( left to right) valley, valley, mountain, mountain

Mats and layers were added, these measure
1 x 4 3/4 by 6 3/4
1 x 4 1/2 by 6 1/2

2 x 2 1/4 by 6 3/4
2 x 2 by 6 1/2

The diamond panels were then secured onto the 1 /2 inch tabs using the patterned paper as a guide to line it in

Panels measuring 2 1/2 by 7 inch were adhered onto the 1/2 inch tabs

Mats and layers measuring
2 1/4 by 6 3/4
2 by 6 1/2
were adhered onto these panels

The images were stamped, coloured and fussy cut out and adhered onto the card

A belly band was created using a piece of card 1/2 inch by 11 inch. This was loosely put around the card and glued together before being finished with an image
