Card Making Instructions

Begin with a sheet of card measuring 10x8 inch. This wants scoring at 2, 3 1/2, 6 1/2 and 8 inch on the long side. Turn it so that the short side is at the top and missing the top and bottom panel score at 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 inch (see video for clarity)

Then cut the last set of score lines you created and fold alternatively so one comes forward, the next backwards

Now cut 2 pieces of blue measuring 8x 2 7/8

2 pieces of white measuring 7 3/4 by 2 3/4

1 piece of patterned measuring 7 1/2 by 2 1/2

Glue these together to make matts and layers.

The one with the patterned paper wants feeding between the horizontal panels and glueing to the ones that go backwards. Ensue this is lined up with the bottom of the card base. The one with no patterned paper then goes on the back. Your card base is now finished

To decorate you need

2x white measuring 1 3/4x 7 3/4

2x pattern measuring 1 1/2 x 7 1/2

4x white measuring 2 3/4 x 3/4

4 x pattern measuring 2 1/2 x 1/2

16 x white measuring 1 1/4 x 3/4

8 x pattern measuring 1 x 1/2

8 x glitter measuring 1 x 1/2

The images were stamped, coloured and fussy cut out and the sentiment cut.

The images were finished with glossy accents
