Pop Up Card

A super easy pop up box card which was really easy to masculine theme. I often struggle with male card ideas but I think this one worked well

Cardmaking Instructions

I begun with 2 sheets of blue card measuring 9 inch by 2 1/2 which was scored at 6, 8 1/2 and 9 inches.

A piece of grey card measuring 1 inch by 11 inch was cut and this was shaped using the hillside landscape die from Time for Tea Designs, however you could easily cut free hand it just wants a wobbly edge.

The two pieces of blue were glued together at one end to create one long strip

3 pieces of card measuring 7 inch by 3/4 were cut and scored at 1/2 and 6 1/2 inch.

They were then glued onto the smallest panels in the large strip you have just created. Check out video for clarity. The box was then glued closed

The grey piece was glued around the top edge of the front and 2 side panels

Onto the back a strip of paper measuring 5 3/4 by 2 1/4 inch was adhered to write the message

The beer bottles were stamped, coloured and fussy cut out and I finished the bottles off with glossy accents and left them to dry.

Once dry these were adhered onto the 3 strips inside the box using liquid glue

The beer glass was also stamped, coloured and cut out and this was placed on the front

Dad was cut out in a grey and a green using the stitched alphabet die and glued together to create a shadow before being adhered onto the front of the box card

The box was then finished with the apple green nuvo drops
