Love this design and do not use it enough. It folds perfectly flat and goes into a standard 9 by 7 inch envelope. This card is for my 13 year old daughter who is at that age that is way too old for cute but thinks she is years older than her brain development stage. It is a tough age to parent and even tougher to make birthday cards for!

Card Making Instructions
I started with a sheet of A4 which measures approximately 11 3/4 inch by 8 1/4 inch. On the long side this was scored at 1/2, 2, 4, 5 1/2 and 7 1/2
All score marks except the 7 1/2 inch were folded as mountains. The 7 1/2 inch is there as an eye mark only. The 1/2 inch tab you created with the first score line is adhered onto the 7 1/2 inch score line
A piece of teal paper was embossed using the secret message embossing folder. Please note this is an 8 by 8inch folder so if you are planning on treating yourself you will need a bigger machine. I had to dust off my hated Gemini!!
The white glitter matt for the larger panel measures 3 3/4 by 8 inch while the thin front panels glitter card measures 1 3/4 by 8.
The embossed card by trimmed to make mats measuring 3 1/2 by 7 3/4 and 1 1/2 by 7 3/4. These were glued on using liquid glue to give enough time to ensure they were straight.#
2 pieces of mirror card were cut measuring 1 1/4 by 8 inch and a sheet of the paper pad measuring 1 by 7 3/4 inch. These were glued onto the remaining panels
The background to the jumbo sentiment was cut in the same pink and the words happy birthday in the designer paper. I wanted this to have a little dimension so it was also cut in white card three times and all glued together. This was then glued onto the edge of the column
I felt like it was missing something so added some sequins to the embossed panels
The images were stamped and coloured
Before being added to the card base and finished with glossy accents
