Wreath Rocker Card

This idea has been sat in my mind for a little while but I was struggling to get them to stay stood up as as fairly top heavy. I had tried altering the centre of of gravity which helped to some extent but the addition of a stopper inside the card really is the game changer.

There is of course a video tutorial up on my YouTube Channel

Card Making Instructions

I set the circle cutter to 3 inch, this would give me a radius of 3 inch and a diameter of 6 inch. This was then used on the green card.

This was scored at 3 inch and burnished to create the rocker base

Pick the 2 circle dies you wish to use and secure the smaller of the two onto the rocker card base and die cut

On separate card I die cut the 2 circle dies together. This was done twice. The largest of the circle dies was also used to cut 2 sheets of acetate

The acetate was secured to the each piece of the wreath shape and on one piece foam tape was added to give enough dimension for the shaker elements which were added

Before being secured with the second wreth

This panel was then glued onto the rocker card base

A piece of card 1 inch by 3 inch was cut and scored at 1/2 inch, 1 1/2 inch and 2 1/2 inch. This is the gae changer that keeps the card standing upright. This was folded to resemble an M and the 1/2 edges glued before being placed inside the card. Check out the video if you are unsure.

The images were stamped, coloured and fussy cut out and the leaves were die cut using green card and coloured using the lucky clover distress oxide. These were arranged and then glued into place using liquid glue.

The sentiment was heat embossed and fussy cut out before being adhered onto the acetate front

I did  not like the green at the bottom it felt it was missing something so I added some Nuvo Drops and some glossy accents to the cherries and the strawberries on the cupcakes.

Thanks for reading
