Double Fold Z Card

This card design is so versatile, I can image it as a scene card also, think grass on the pop out panel. I can not wait to play with this design again in the future and it is super simple and will fit in a standard A5 envelope.

Card Making Supplies:-

2 Sheets of A4

Mirror Card

Patterned Paper

Paper Discovery Woodgrain Embossing Folder

Spectrum Noir Harmony Opaque in Friar Brown

Made to Surprise Have a drink on me Stamp & Die set

Pearlescent card in mocha

Wow Embossing Powder in Earthtone Grape

Silver sequins

Nuvo glitter drops in Lilac Whisper

Card Making Instructions:-

Begin by score two pieces of A4 card at 2 3/4, 5 1/2, and 11 inch. Cut both sheets down the 11 inch score mark

Fold and burnish the 2 3/4 score line as a mountain and the 5 1/2 as a valley

Cut both sheets of card so they are 6 inch tall. Keep these 2 strips as you need them later

Place glue onto the half sized panel of the second sheet on card and glue the two sheets of card together. (Check video for clarity if this is unclear)

Cut mirror card to measure 5 3/4 x 5 1/4 inch (x2) and 5 3/4 x 2 1/2 inch (x3) and patterned paper to measure 5 1/2 x 5 inch (x2) and 5 1/2 x 2 1/4 (x3). I used 2 different patterns but it will look just as good with 1 pattern. The pattern was mounted onto the mirror

Take the 2 strips that you cut off earlier and flip them 180 degrees so the 2 3/4 score line is on the right. Adhere this onto the first panel and the last 2 2/3 inch of the third panel ( see video)

Do the same for the second strip. Placing it over the last 2 3/4 inch of the first strip

I used the embossing folder on the mocha paper to create my patterned paper and these were trimmed to 2 1/4 x 1 3/4 (x3) and 1 3/4 x 5 inch (x2). This embossed paper was rubbed with the friar brown ink to give extra dimension

These were mounted onto mirror measuring 5 1/4 x 2 inch (x2) and 2 1/2 x 2 inch (x3). These were glued onto the remaining plain panels

The images were stamped, coloured and die cut and arranged on the panels.
The sentiment was heat embossed and die cut

The panel was then finished with sequins and Nuvo drops
