I really love how this turned out and it gave me enough room to totally fill with images. As you can see this is for my Mum who is a total whizz with a sewing machine

Card Making Instructions

Begin with a circle with a diameter of 7 1/2 inch. Down the centre put a pencil mark 2 inch in from both edges

Rotate the circle 90 degrees ad draw 2 pencil lines down either side. Put a pencil mark on each line at 1 1/2 inch from the bottom, 2 inch, 2 3/4 inch, 3 1/4 inch and 4 1/4 inch. Then score these out to the circle edge (Please check out the video for clarity)

One scored, cut between the score lines on the original pencil line. I have marked this bit in green on the template

Then score down the centre of the card at 3 3/4 between the two pencil lines only

Rub out the pencil lines and fold as below

You need a piece of card measuring 1 inch by 3 inch and score this at 1/2, 1 1/2, 2 1/2 inch. this then wants folding like a W and glueing to the inside of the two circle edges

 To create the patterned paper I chose a glitter card stock and cut myself a semi circle with a diameter of 7 inch.

Onto the back I drew the 2 lines 2 inch in like before. Then a second line 1 1/2 inch up from the bottom

The squiggly line part was cut away and then this was adhered onto the card base. I cut 2 nesting circles and added these, ensuring that they fit within an A5 envelope and then added the MUM sentiment

Before adding my images, which had been stamped, coloured and die cut out
