Flip Card

Loving the dimensional cards at the moment and have being having a bit of a play recently so here is another super easy card with no special dies required

Supplies Used:-

2 Sheets of A4 pink card

Patterned Paper

Daisy Mae Designs Celebration Cakes Stamp

Daisy Mae Designs Torn Circle Dies

Copic Markers

Sticker Gems

Stamping Paper

Distress Oxide in Pumice Stone

Foam Tape

Instructions:-

Begin with a sheet of pink card measuring 11inch x 5 1/2 inch and sore and burnish at 5 1/2 inch

On the second sheet of pink card cut to measure 11 inch by 5 1/2 inch and score at 2 3/4, 5 1/2, 8 1/4. Turn the card so that the 5 1/2 inch side is at the top of your score board and score at 1/2 inch and 5 inch up to the first score line you created (2 3/4 inch). See video for clarity. Cut the middle part away up to the 2 3/4 score line.

Cut away the part you have just scored up to the 2 2/3 score line

Cut patterned paper to fit the 3 panels measuring 2 1/2inch by 5 inch and glue down securely

I adhered a sheet of patterned paper measuring 5x5 inch onto the card front and using the torn circle die I cut my gap

I then cut a second torn circle out of pink and place to the side

I used double sided tab on the 2 tabs I had created but you may find it easier with a liquid glue to attach the mechanism into the card base. See photo photo and you may find it easier to watch on the video

The other end of the mechanism was glued onto the card base

Glue was adhered onto one half of the wrong side of the pink torn circle cut earlier. If using an asymmetrical shape like I did be sure to line it up before applying glue

This was then stuck back into the gap so the glue was on the internal mechanism. I didn't like it at this stage so cut a piece of patterned paper using a stitched circle nesting die and added this to the pink torn circle

My image was stamped, coloured with Copics and cut out using the next sized down nesting die before being added onto the patterned paper

The sentiment was stamped using the distress oxide in pumice stone and fussy cut out. I added this to the card base using foam squares to give dimension. The panel was then finished with some sticky gems
